Our jewellery making courses are run at our fully equipped workshop in Sheffield where we manufacture handmade jewellery for the retail market.

Your teacher is Andrew, a professional goldsmith with over 40 years' experience in the jewellery industry.

Whether you are a hobbyist looking for a new skill, or a designer wanting to make and sell your own jewellery as a business, Andrew will take you on a journey into the fascinating world of jewellery making.

Taking raw materials and turning them into a beautiful piece of jewellery, to be treasured and appreciated for many years to come, is a wonderful and rewarding experience!

What we offer

Jewellery Making for Beginners

A full day introductory course which will teach you the methods of jewellery making, the tools we use, and you will make your own piece of jewellery. No experience required.

Advanced Classes for Designers

If you have some knowledge of jewellery making and design, our advanced courses will take you to the next level, including casting and stone setting.

Private Tuition for Individuals

We also offer one on one individual lessons for students at all levels, helping you to gain the skills you need to create your own specific style of jewellery.

Expert guidance
from start to finish

You will be shown every stage of the jewellery making process and be given individual training on how to use the tools to make your very own piece of jewellery.

We provide all the tools required for beginners. Just come along and enjoy creating!

Every student leaves our course with a piece of jewellery made by themselves!

I'd already done a silver ring making course which was a lot of fun (and I was happy with that result!), and I decided that my fiancé and I should make wedding rings here. My Handmade Jewellery

My Handmade Jewellery is our successful brand of jewellery, made in the same Sheffield studio where we teach our jewellery courses.

Our range of jewellery is designed to show off the beautiful qualities of natural stones, particularly those sourced in the UK including Blue John and Whitby Jet.

Every piece of stone is unique with its own magical combination of colours, patterns and textures. As you will discover in some of our courses, choosing the right stone for a certain piece of jewellery is really important in jewellery making.
